Queen Dannel ir'Wynarn, the true heir to the throne of Galifar, is the popular ruler of Cyre. Claiming descent from Queen Mishann ir'Wynarn, she claims and the Cyran people know that she has the strongest claim to Thronehold among the Five Nations. She rules from the Vermishard Palace in Metrol and has frequent audiences with her people in order to keep morale high as the War becomes more desperate around her. She has proved a deft negotiator, managing to make deals with the Dragonmarked Houses which have given them the forces they need as mercenaries deserted Cyre.
