Margrave ir'Cethleann

Margrave ir'Cethleann is the Lord Mayor of Sharn, husband of Valindra ir'Cethleann, and father of Miklan ir'Cethleann and Xaris ir'Cethleann. The Lord Mayor oversees the day-to-day administration of the city, represents it in interactions with the Brelish Crown, and appoints city officials. The Mayor can also establish trade agreements, order arrests, and issue pardons. The Lord Mayor is appointed by and answerable to the Sharn Council.
Though seen by many as a wise leader and philanthropist, close confidantes and those in the political arena know him as a ruthless politician of unmatched wit and skill. He is a private individual who keeps his personal affairs close to his chest, but will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals and further House Cethleann's agenda.

Cold, calculating, and shrewd, Margrave ir'Cethleann is the Lord of Mayor of Sharn and the head of House Cethleann. The citizens of the City of Towers see him as kind and generous benefactor and philanthropist, but in truth he is ruthless and unwavering in his pursuit of power.
