Session 1

General Summary

After exiting The Exalted Peacock on a dark, stormy evening, Matt, Tiffy, Halarchon, No One, and Casakri came across the corpse on a bridge. While inspecting the body, the party was accosted by several warforged claiming to be apart of the Sharn Watch, with one making away with a notebook stashed away in the body. The true Sharn Watch arrived at the scene and arrested the party on suspicion of murder; however, a mysterious benefactor paid their bail on condition that the party meets with them at a local tavern called The Broken Anvil.
At The Broken Anvil, the party met a representative of House Cannith, who hires the party to venture into the lower depths of Sharn to retrieve blueprints from an old Cannith facility -- however, its exact location is unknown. The party descended to the lower levels and asked the goblin leader of the rat market for information. Casakri bribed the goblin with 2gp, and the goblin happily took them to their location.
The party found their way into a large forge and found a stack of blueprints. Before they could leave, they were accosted by more warforged, seeking the same items. With a well-placed shot from No One, the last warforged remaining shattered to pieces, leaving behind the blueprints and the book stolen from the corpse on the bridge.
With their mission complete, the party made their way back to The Broken Anvil. On their journey back, Matt had an inescapable feeling that they were being followed. They decided to ignore it for the time being and returned the documents to the House Cannith representative. Satisfied, the woman gave the documents to her warforged assistant, paid the party for their deeds, and advised them to keep an eye out for more jobs from House Cannith.
