Asherend

The area of West Asia has changed significantly PL. With the region's natural resources having been entirely used up during the previous century by Horizon, it has become an actual wasteland. Thus, it has been more aptly renamed Asherend by those who make their homes in the various ruins scattered throughout the region.

Mammals - Small nocturnal rodents and foxes burrow underground to keep cool during the day, and avoid being hunted by larger predators.

Long-Eared Jerboa

Plant Life - Trees and cacti sparsely populate the area. Leaves on trees have developed a thick, black, waxy coating to deal with ash and dust in the air.
