Skills and Spells (REWARD)

skills are close range energy techniques, while spells are ranged energy techniques. Skills and spells fall into four categories, offensive, defensive, movement, and utility. These skills and spells can be gifted to people three ways.  
  1. Skill-orbs are one time use orbs that impart the skill subconsciously. This can be great for utility or knowledge based skills and spells, but leads to Very little room to personalize the skill to the persons style or affinity.
  2. The next way is to receive a Skill-manual. This provides a reusable step by step guide to attaining the skill, but no physical help attaining it. This leads to a very customized skill, but possibly not as efficient or effective as it could be. If the learner is particularly inept then it is possible that the skill or spell can be dangerous to the user.
  3. The final and most expensive of the imparting methods is the Skill-counselor. This is similar to a skill-orb that it imparts parts of the skill automatically, but it also has an imprint of the skill creators mind (scanned by the system for malicious intent) that the user can work with to personalize and integrate the skill into the users existing skill repertoire, style, and affinity. Can be used multiple times based on the quality, low being able to be used once, med able to use three times, and high seven times.
Combinations of connected offensive, defensive, movement, and utility skills are called skill-sets. Skill-sets can have as many skills as necessary to complete the skills that form a fighting style or professional technique. Skill sets additionally show how to connect these skills. Skill sets are rarer than individual skills, and slightly more expensive, but exponentially more powerful than the skills individually.
