Mana

One of the three main energies of World Energy, Mana is the energy of the soul, of feelings and beliefs. With Mana people, monsters, places and objects can cultivate part of their emotions, and use their emotions and beliefs to influence the world. A person with fire mana can light things on fire and fling fire from their hands, a person with healing mana can heal anothers injuries. Mana is measured in three ways: conviction, resonance, and capacity. conviction measures the strength of your control of Mana, resonance measures how much you resonate with the mana. Mana resonance is necessary for more fine control of Mana. The final measure is capacity, which literally measures your mana capacity.

Manifestation

Mana is the energy of the soul, and its pool is housed in a beings soul space, the entrance of which is in their stomach area. It is first visualized as a gas that floats around the soul space, and the user must empty their Mana and process new Mana from similar affinity world energy. Refilling the soul space makes the soul space empty, and refilling to maximum capacity will cause the outer bounds to stretch and thus the capacity larger. The capacity will continue to grow until the soul space is as large as the person can make it (growing the soul space is uncomfortable or painful based on how much it is stretching each time, so the limit of the persons storage is based on how much pain and unease they can go through). The person then begins compressing the soul space, turning the gaseous Mana into liquid. Again they must empty, refill, grow and consolidate liquid Mana until they get to solid, and then solid until they get to crystallization (the soul space size resets when it undergoes consolidation, but the amount it can hold does not change pre and post consolidation, thus the more the being has before they go to the next stage, the firmer the foundation for their future). They then have to consolidate their solid mana into a crystalline structure around a representation of their affinity. the final and longest step is to encompass all that the affinity is in the representation in the core.

Localization

Mana is in all beings with a soul, and some objects and places that are representative of a belief or an emotional image. Any area that collects enough Mana with an emotional image can then become a Mana dungeon. Mana dungeons collect monsters and energy that is in line with their image. Mana dungeons are the most common dungeons. Any object that people believe is haunted, any fresh battlefield that is horrific enough, or any area that contains enough belief or emotion can gain enough Mana to become a dungeon. Like any dungeon, Mana dungeons can be beneficial or malicious. An example of a malicious Mana dungeon would be a haunted house, which will collect malicious specters, zombies and other undead monsters. An example of a beneficial dungeon would be a church, which can collect enough hopeful emotion and belief to become a beneficial Mana dungeon.
