Varenburg

Varenburg is a major city in the east of the Valerian Empire. The city is one the main industrial centers of the empire, producing metals, fuel, and other industrial materials. The city is home to dozens of factories that provide jobs for the city's three million people population and important materials for the empire's military and infrastructure projects. The city has been a symbol of pride for Valeria and during World War II, it was a target for the Volarian Union and a fierce battle was fought in the snow around the city in January 1944, eventually forcing the Union to retreat. Many industrial corporations have some of their largest facilities in Varenburg.
