The Skêga Experiment: Colonization of Trichthaven

Following the joint summit between Bristol, Gråbløff and Tolak at Skêga; a joint venture of colonizing the Widermount and Trichthaven wildlands in the South of Wosterhiem is undertaken.

Appealing to Bristols need of lumber and Nordic expansionist sentiments, Tolak's chief paragon averted war by offering an alternative. Dwarven prospectors had discovered large seams of iron, lead and silver under the Widermount in the southwestern region of Wosterhiem. As there were few people who lived there, extraction, refinement and shipment would need to be developed there. If Bristol would clear the dense forests there (harvesting high quality hardwood), Nordic settlers could live in the cleared land and develop it and keep the fell beasts at bay.   Bristol and Gråbløff put aside their differences and five years after the Skêga Accords, colonization began.
