Zibidekan Clocks

Pioneering the clockwork technology, the gnomes of Zibidek invented the twelve watch cycle, a method that is used in many acedemic circles today, although largely abandoned by the common folk today in favour of the day and night two-cycle 24-hour model. Every two hours marked the end of a watch. Several of the older models of Gnomish clock feature a curious system for the watches. Instead of twelve numbers it features twelve animals instead. The order of these creatures coincides with the twelve hour clock with Elephant at noon and followed clockwise by Rat, Bat, Eagle, Dog, Turtle, Wolf, Fish, Hare, Lion, Horse and Bear.
