Al-Siddig: Sea of Red Sands

The largest continent in Earssea, Al-Siddig is defined by its scorched sands. Girdling the equator, it is both the hottest and driest part place on the planet. Geologically active with five active volcanos, it is inhospitable to all but the hardiest of creatures.
Nonetheless, there are places on this continent that are hospitable, which are guarded jealously by the inhabitants. Along the south western coasts, Genie guide their Genasi descendants to prosperity and health, while in the East, Dragons have shaped the country and culture of Draconyt, made up predominantly of Dragonborn. Conflict and racial tensions have shaped these two cultures, while a third culture has formed in the north west. Along the Strait of Fire city states have formed and enjoyed trade with Pallen, until recent corsair action has destroyed that culture. What remains is the Nomadic Elves who walk the sands by night and have found refuge in the interior.
