Audice is a friend of Claire, and a fellow vampire. She spends most of her time prowling beneath the streets of Driftwood Hill.
Physical Description
Facial Features
The skin of her eye sockets is noticeably darkened and reddened. Her canine teeth and long, sharp, and thick, almost resembling tusks.
Identifying Characteristics
She has a tattoo of a rat on the back of her right hand, and ritualistic, constantly-bleeding wounds, courtesy of Claire, circling her right wrist. She also tends to be surrounded by small amounts of vermin such as rats and insects, crawling over and around her without bothering her.
Special abilities
When she is injured, she can press dead organic material to the wound and graft it to her body. She can even regain lost limbs this way. When she is badly injured, her pain response automatically dulls and she gets a surge of strength and speed. Finally, she subconsciously controls vermin creatures around her.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears a haphazard mix of clothing stolen from pirates and clothing thrown away by pirates. She wears a bracelet on her left hand made from tarred rope. She wears a necklace with a skeletal fish head for a pendant.
Specialized Equipment
She has inch-long, grimy claws at the tips of her fingers. Unlike most vampires, she can eat real food - so long as it is rotten. She can also safely eat raw meat. She can drink the blood of animals or other vampires, as well.
Mental characteristics
Mental Trauma
She spent the last few days of her life lost in the winding, darkened, ramshackle underbelly of Kalana, thirsty and hungry. After being transformed into a Misaere, she's been essentially reliving that experience for the past year and a half.
