Astilia

Astilia is a fertile land subdivided into 8 baronies: Carcino, Jehanna, Fado, Renais, Hayden, Frelia, Rausten, and Grado. Each one is dominated by a people group, usually of similar racial origin as follows: Carcino - Human Jehanna - Halfling Fado and Renais - Half-Elf Hayden and Frelia - Elf Rausten - Fey Grado - Dwarf The islands around the main continent would consider themselves autonomous, but they do technically fall under the jurisdiction of the mainland. The surrounding islands are as follows: Lycia, Ostia, Sacaea, Raidia, Thracia, Achea, Caldona, Shatterstaff, 3 Rings, and Wizard's Hand.

Geography

The north eastern part of the continent has a desert, hemmed in by mountains, with the rest of the majority of the continent a mixture of forests, plains, and mountains. The further south one travels on the continent, the harsher the terrain.
