This text began being written in the year 1 approximately by the king of Hillside Mines. The scroll was added upon by his son and grandson. The scroll was duplicated by Bordor Stonecrown IV, and distributed to academics and historians, the original was donated to the Gindland University in the year 873.
I Bodror Stonecrown The king of the Hillside Mines, write this passage in the 4957 year of the new dwarven calendar. The Scaled Demon armies has started attacking the Elven and Human cities all around Eagsain, yet they are yet to arrive at the Island of Nyhelion. I have gathered the army and the dwarven legion of the south stronghold and order of hasted weapon production. We will stand strong against any attacking forces and will end victories.   I Bodror Stonecrown The king of the Hillside Mines, write this passage in the 4963 year of the new dwarven calendar. The Kingdom has fallen to the Fire of the drugon and the land has submitted to the wrath of the black sky. The elves has flew away to the north and left the human, their fool worshipers behind. The humans now run for their lives in fear and helplessness. The dwarfs has always warned the human of the elven tech, that has deceased working with their absences. The dwarfs are safe from the firey death the elves couldn’t escape, and we will be the ones to protect what remained of civilization.   I Bodror Stonecrown the II, The son of Bordor Stonecrown The king of the Hillside wMines may he find peace, write this passage in the 8th year of the new calendar. My father has died in glory while fighting the armies of the devil as they roamed into the mines of Hillside. Our glorious army and dwarven legion has fought the enemy with much valor, and managed to repal the enemy from inflatraiting the city. We lost many hero dwarves in the fight. With the destruction of any land based city many fugitives has arrived in our gates, they include humen, halflings, gnomes, orcs, elves and devilborns. We have decided to make our city a city for all, ask they don’t have a city no more and we don’t have people.   I Bodror Stonecrown the II, a proud council member of the Hillside council, write this passage in the 12th year of the new calendar. We have managed to create a welcoming and working society where we work together and help each other. We have decided to give out the monarchy and create a council in the name of equality. The kindness of the dwarves and the team work of the people will forever be forgotten. The new council consist of well trusted individuals including I, Minarora, a former Nyhelion duke, and Ratratcherm a well known wizard. The remains of the High Order of magic has supplied us with paladins to help us monitor our gate and help us. I Bodror Stonecrown the II, a proud council member of the Hillside council, write this passage in the 124th after the attack of the drugon. The drugon has been sleeping form the last 111 years, his generals has found caves to dwell in, and his armies has begun settling in cities on the new land. They still live in masses unimaginable, and to overcome that their new cities and function are fighting now constantly.   I Bodror Stonecrown the III, a proud council member of the Hillside council, write this passage in the year 348 AC. Wealthy individuals from out city leading the people to the surface to come and live in new cities on the ground, I am, like my father, against abandoning the city we created with blood and tears, yet the new generation has no awareness of their forefathers struggle and fight. This chapter of Hillside is ending in a sad note.   I Bodror Stonecrown the III, a proud former council member of the Hillside council, write this passage in the year 526 AC. I am old now, I have to myself a beautiful family and a castle in a forest near the new city known as Hillburrow. The people suffer, their false leader kill them in taxes and fooled them out of any rights and equality they had. Freedom fighters including Dwarven legion descendants are fighting them for the people, the remains of the Stonecrown dynasty is with them. I finish this document with a note of hope, may the new generation will learn from our cause and become as better as we was.
