Hillburrow

Hill borrow is the capital Gindland. The city is named after an ancient dwarven city whose citizens founded the town of Hillborrow. The ruler of Hilbborow. is Queen Anastasia Breckenridge, daughter of King Felix Breckenre, additional competitors for the throne are Anastasia's younger brother who was the previous king (Anastasia overthrew him), and Bodror Stonecrown the 11th who believes he has a right for the throne based on his ancestral claim to the throne of the ancient dwarven city.

Hillborrow's Features

Hillborrow's main trade is off metal, gems, and minerals. The throne is holding all the rich mining land that surrounds it, so it has a monopoly on the entire field of mining. The Dwarves of Hillborrow work as miners for pennies, their findings are sold to merchants by merchants of the crown. The economy of Hillborrow is very good due to its rich land and the great work done by the dwarves, because of that the city became the main hub for traders, and is believed to have the biggest market of metal, gems, and minerals on the surface of the mainland.   Due to the Dwarves' low pay grade and the systematic and cultural racism toward them, many rebellious groups have risen, some of them borderline terror organizations. This made it so the Dwarves are even more hated around the city. The city guards are ordered to mainly patrol the Dwarven quarters, which leads to violence against innocent dwarfs, In addition, the profession of "guard" is the biggest in Hillborrow (after "merchant"). The Three main Dwarf Resistance Organisations are:
  • The Legion (The Main Branch), Led by Bodror Stonecrown the 11th.
  • Brothers of The Mines
  • The Swinging Axes.
While The Legion and the TSA work together often, neither get along with The Brothers, this is due to the Brothers' violent ideology, and their opposition to the monarchy (including Stonecrown). The Brothers and The Legion often get into fights against each other for Hilborrow.   Walking in the Dwarven quarters of the outer ring is an unpleasant experience, the dwarfs live in small slum-like houses, and they tend to not be kind to not dwarfs (and sometimes dwarfs as well). Their quarters have mostly dwarf taverns and fighting arenas. The second ring is a more pleasant place. This ring is where the market is, so it is very well groomed by the crown. This ring is mostly populated by humans and halflings, yet some dwarfs and elves found residents here. The area is full of shops as far as the eye can see, including mater blacksmiths, big taverns, and makers shops of gnomes. The third ring is mainly for artists, master crafters (excluding dwarfs that aren't well welcomed here), priests, politicians, and rich elves. This ring is mostly empty and has many inner gardens. Most of the time walking in this ring you can hear music played by one of the many artists, in addition, many acts are being played on the many stages (everyone can buy a ticket to watch the show for 40 SP, but some might be denied entry). The inner circle is where the nobles and wizards resing, in addition, this is where the castle and council house are.   The Main symbol of the city is of the sun, picking behind a mountain, on a banner it will be silver colored while the banner is white. The guards of the city have the symbol on the front of their armor, and the side of their helmets.
