Doric Dawson

The eldest son of Adler Dawson, king of Khylo, Doric is headstrong and well versed in both intellectual and physical tasks. He was trained to be both fighter and politician. But Doric did not consider the throne something to be desired.

History

Adler Dawson loved his children equally, but Doric, as the eldest son, was next in line to inherit the throne. When Doric confessed his apathy for rulership and his love for an elven girl he met while traveling, Adler became harsh with Doric. Doric disobeyed his father and left Khylo in the night and headed for Dagma to be with his love.
Adler disowned Doric the next morning when Doric was found missing from his chambers. His other two children, James and Angela, fought for their father's affection. They both went to Tera to lead charges into orc territory, hoping to win a major victory and win their father's favor. But, both children lost their lives, and their bodies were never recovered.
Adler fell into a deep depression, secluding himself most days. When his wife died not long afterward, he cursed the lords and since has not been the same. Now, with the return of his son Doric, wifelss and childless, Adler and Doric had a heated dispute which ended with Adler calling Doric his greatest disappointment and no son of his.
