The Divide

The massive chasm dividing the two main continents of Dwell. It is the literal "end of the world", so if you were to jump into it, you'd just fall forever away from the planet. Possibly landing on the moon if you're lucky (or very coordinated).

History

There are some records of ancient civilizations throwing people into this abyss as a sacrifice to the Deity of Death, believing it would stave off disease. Empirical data proved otherwise and this practice was outlawed.
