Lady Valentina Windrivver (nee Silverbrooke)

Valentina Windrivver, Bourdekin's mother, is a researcher at the National University of Cormyr. Valentina’s area of study is arcane history, and she’s a popular professor at the University. She encouraged Bourdekin's pursuits growing up and introduced her daughter to her colleague Vera Gemblossom, who headed up the medical education department and became Bourdekin's mentor.
The Silverbrooke family is much more open-minded than the Windrivvers, and as such Valentina supports her daughter's travels; although as a widow with her only child abroad, she often tries to encourage the doctor to come home. She has mastered the art of blending affection and guilt-tripping at a truly impressive level.
