Sleepwalkers

Sleepwalkers are humans who have imbibed the blood of the Awakened, receiving a weaker form of their blessings and banes. They heal from even severe injuries at a greatly enhanced rate and with minimum scar tissue, though they don’t normally regenerate lost bodyparts or survive mortal injuries like the Awakened, and are highly resistant to disease and illness. The aging process is essentially halted or perhaps slowed to a crawl. Sleepwalkers do not gain a supernatural ability like the Awakened do but do develop an unusual ‘knack’ of some sort.
They also become mildly photosensitive – sunglasses and sunscreen will usually do the trick - and develop an allergy to apples.
Vampire blood is not intrinsically addictive, but the effects – immortality especially - certainly can be.
Not all Awakened approve of Sleepwalkers, with many in the Brother’s Wrath and Unified in particular opposed to it. It is also possible to feed Awakened blood to animals, with similar effects.
