Factionless

There are those who do not pledge to the power and ideological struggles of the factions. Nevertheless, they continue to abide by the rules of Awakened, choosing instead to put their own freedom to act and be over any ideological commitments. Typically, the "Proud" are considered to be hedonists or loners, although those generalizations are usually made by those stuck within the factions. What the Proud would call themselves are individualists - Awakened who respect their own autonomy and desires over being committed to a particular higher cause.
