The Hundred Men War

A tale told by the Zasfarian people to teach about the importance of patience, respect, equality, humility, and bravery. Except for those virtues, the story also encourages the Zasfarians to take matters into their own hands, as the war was finished the moment the Seddisin people attacked, and to increase the Zasfarian population to become a stronger ethnicity.

Summary

Long before the Zasfarians sailed to Aicazeios, back in Zasfar, they lived in three major cities; Two hundred men, women, and children in Hashtar, four hundred in Ladurn, and three hundred in Seddisin. For years the former two forced the latter to pay taxes, which turned the city to one of poverty. The two cities considered the Seddisin people to be fools, weak-minded, and untalented or skilled, so much so that they voted on a law where any Seddisin man who walks to either city has to kiss the boots of the guards at the entrance.
Furius, the people in Seddisin declared they will no longer pay, or allow ships from either city to dock on their territory until the law is retracted and their taxes are lowered. Seddisin knew it was in the right, but Hashtar and Ladurn both denounced the city, and after a few attempts to threaten the city, they declared war. Hashtar and Ladurn together sent fifty men to attack and conquer Seddisin but they underestimated the abilities of the people they were fighting. When the soldiers reached Seddisin, they came to learn they were fighting a hundred Seddisin men and women, who laid traps and fought with incredible valor. When the battle was over Seddisin only suffered two casualties.
Due to the shattering loss, Hashtar and Ladurn feared to send more soldiers to the battlefield, and so the fighting was on holt, none of the cities wanted to lose more men, and so they all stayed mostly dormant for another twenty years. In that time the population in Seddisin almost doubled and they were ready to push an attack on the two cities. When two hundred and seventy men stood in front of the gates to Ladurn, the fighting began but the walls were quickly breached and the city had to surrender, with Hashtar abandoning the war as well.
Overall a hundred men died in the war which is why it was named "The one hundred men war".
