Council of Protection

The council of protection is one of the Tzuderic emperor's councils which is under the leadership of the minister of walls. It has one member for each city in the [Tzuderic empire] and is responsible for the security of the citizens in it. To become a member of the council, one must receive the approval of the Tzuderic emperor, the minister of walls, and the king of a district which holds a city without a council member. After getting the title, the new member works under the king of the district and is responsible to keep the peace inside the city he was given. He makes sure the guards are spread around the city and that they get well paid, in addition he acts as the local authority in cases of crimes like theft, violence, and murder (although he can hire a team which will do it for him). The council of protection is the only council that doesn't have a meeting every two fortnights due to the distance between all of its members. instead they meet once every change of moon.
