Alaric Ordesza

As a second generation immigrant from the Eastern Isles, Alaric Ordesza has worked incredibly hard to distance himself from his parents "go with the flow" attitude. At an early age, Alaric saw that the Church of Erathis was his best chance to obtain the power and influence he would need in order to make a name for himself. He grew up with a firm all work no play mindset, ignoring the other kids his age in his goal to be accepted as an acolyte at the temple. Despite his sacrifices, it took a few years for the church to see his potential. Rather than see this as an indicator that he needed to become a more rounded person, Alaric took it as a personal slight, and so his descent into bitterness began. Now, after decades of loyal service, Alaric has managed to progress as far as becoming a well-known but ultimately minor figure amongst the Order of the Hammer. He thinks of himself as a great success, and instead expects his own children to achieve the goals he himself never managed...
