Session 59 Report

General Summary

Drow slaves split off from the party as they approached Vur Dural from the Underdark. Players returned to Vur Dural and noticed the snow and frozen dwarves. They headed to the Grand Forge and found Lomir with his guards. He explained how his wife touched his anniversary gift (a necklace) and muttered "permafrost", and the whole city was frozen. When he was defrosted, his wife, his children, and their nursemaid were missing.
The party found the poem resting on the armrest of the throne, hinting to the party's whereabouts. The party headed into the mountains without Lomir (as they didn't trust his mental state) and Dandelion stayed behind to watch over the cart while the party was gone. They stumbled upon the broken wood bridge, and found the murdered dwarves. They found no tracks leading away from the bodies, indicating that the murderer could fly. They continued up the mountain and encountered the three yetis feasting on the winter wolves. They defeated the yetis and the session ended.
