Thomas Boren was born to a hardworking upper middle class family in the New Portland Colony on the planet Trisaline, raised mainly by his retired grandfather due to his parents' busy schedule in the medical field, Tom demonstrated interest in arts and, upon completing his studies, set out for an art major at age 19.   3 years later, Tom seeked a career as an independent artist, dismissing graphics work for larger industries as "beneath him", his success however, was very limited, and he spent a great portion of his early adulthood still totally dependant on his family.   At one point, Tom supposedly acquired a position as an "Art Consultant" for a famous architect, this project however turned out to be a scam, and by the time Tom was made aware of this fact he had already accumulated thousands in debt.   Unable to accept this failure, Tom fell into a delusion, still attempting to maintain contact with his scammer and hiding the truth from his parents, after a few years of secrecy the truth came out, and a middle aged Tom was sent out of home to work as a bellhop under his uncle William in his luxurious space hotel "Silver Nebula".   Feeling rejected and abused at wasting his youth away and being forced to work at a low-end job despite what he had achieved, Tom's rancor grew ever stronger, within a few years Tom had enlisted in the shadowy Trisalinian "Cabal of the Wraith", a mysterious cult dedicated to the worship of an ancient personification of Ire known as the Wraith.   Utilizing his uncle's wealth and influence, Tom quickly rose up in the Cabal's ranks, compensating with a healthy dose of charisma and deception to achieve what money couldn't buy. After a few years of balancing his two occupations, Tom had achieved a Grandmaster role at the cabal, allowing him to lead a small sect of tightly knit followers.   In the year 12605, aged 43, Tom came across the "Inferno lux", an ancient tome used in the worship of the very same Wraith that detailed specific summoning patterns and locations of old temples, after two years of hard work, Tom was ready to spring his plan.   First came Trisaline, the Wraith's possessive abilities proved extraordinarily effective in the acquisition of an army, and through his worship Tom had also gained a few magical abilities of his own. Tom's parents and uncle were among the first to fall, while his grandfather, one of the few people Tom harbored respect for, was stealthily relocated to the safer hotel, even if such safety wouldn't last long.   After decimating Trisaline's population en masse, a few of the Wraith's scouts made their way out of the planet, looking to absorb the energy of the local sun to empower their master, along the way they came across the Gilded Valac colony ship, wrecking it and acquiring a sizeable population of hosts utilized to take over a few scattered space stations and spread terror towards the system, to the point where even Tom himself was forced into hiding inside the safeguarded hotel.   After a short while though, the hotel's defenses were breached, and after an encounter with a few of the Valac's escaped passengers, evacuated towards the ruined Trisaline, hoping to commune with the Wraith and renegotiate safety, and safety was granted, that which through possession.   Some time later, Tom came across the Valac's crew once more, struggling to remain conscious he relayed them his story, regretful of what he had done, before laying down his defenses and allowing his opponents to take him on, weakening the God of Ire, a duel ensued, and the Wraith, along with Tom's body, was finally defeted.   However, Tom's legacy endured, the three other personifications, awakened across the galaxy under similar though distant circumstances, gave rise to their master Ineugi, who effortlessly ravaged through the Milky Way's defenses in a Ten Year War, before being able to expand however, the universal potency of the Clause of Observation erected a barrier across the entirety of the Milky Way, trapping Ineugi within, with only a select few, including the Valac's crew, managing to escape.
