Sercy and their enforcer
Derret they have a small fleet of canal boats, packed with wrecking tools and explosives to carry out sabotage across the city. many of their followers were also born and raised in Lockport and have been marked by the toxic mutating rain that plagues that city. They have been aided by the workers of the docks and by the indomitable
Ulf Ironborn.
Their home city of
Lockport processes 90% of the demon blood siphoned by the leviathan hunter ships of Doskvol. The huge churning refineries in Lockport have poisoned the city under a stinking cloud of toxic fumes and acid rain. A group of dockers and refinery workers from Lockport have come to Doskvol to raise an army and secure a warship with which to seize control of Lockport and destroy the Empires refineries. In order to raise funds for their mission, the Grinders have turned to criminal endeavors, especially smash & grab looting and hijacking of cargo barges across the city. All the wealth is brought back to an abandoned dock warehouse with a secret underground canal dock. All this activity has not gone unnoticed and the mechanisms of the state like
the Bluecoats and the
Imperial Military are actively attempting to hunt them down. The disruptions to the mechanisms of Leviathan blood refining has also hurt the pockets of the
leviathan hunters and sailors across the city. There is also a special animosity towards
the Silver Nails due to their role in the war of Skovlan independence.
