The Leviathan hunter Fleet consists of a number of rival vessels, each one a spectacle of engineering, owned by the noble house who build and commands it. With this wealth behind each individual ship and the lifeline of the City linked to their prosperity this organisation has massive wealth and influence. Companies of marines protect the vessels and their valuable cargo at sea and in port. Cohorts of expert sailors, spark-craft technicians, demonologist whispers, and void touched navigators are all employed by these Lords. Massive docks hold construction and repair facilities as well as some small personal refineries owned by the more esteemed families.
Of the most notable families are
Lord Strangford,
Lady Clave and
lady Ankhayat. they each have their own connections and favours, but each can call upon members of
The City Council and
The Church of Ecstasy. As employers on a vast scale, many Sailors, Dockers, and Sparkwrights owe them their living and can therefore be called upon in great numbers.
Despite this esteemed position they still have many enemies,
The Grinders oppose their destruction of their home of Lockport,
the Ministry of Preservation views them as irresponsible and disorganised and
the Path of Echos opposes their meddling in the spirit world.
