The Dimmer Sisters

House-bound recluses with an occult reputation.
In a fine old manor house and grounds in the city live the reclusive Dimmer Sisters. Beneath the house lie an ancient temple ruin and a maze of subterranean canals. In this arcane stronghold are a number of spirits, some contained in ritual vessels, others simply bound in service to the sisters. powered by private electroplasmic generators, and lightning barriers, this haunting location is doom to all that sneak their way inside.
Whilst there are a large number of Apothecaries and witches bound to the service of the Dimmer sisters very few know the true leaders of the family or their true names. Roslyn serves the sisters and deals with the direct contact outside of the house, and Irelen acts as their spark craft tinkerer, constructing weird and wonderful contraptions. The precise number of sisters is unknown, some say they are an ancient family of possessing spirits, others that they are Vampires.
Over many decades the Sisters have been slowly and secretly consolidating the trade of captured and spirits and their essences. They have allied themselves with The Forgotten Gods and The Foundation in order to do this. only a few remaining rivals stand between them and domination of the market. These activities have made them enemies in both the Spirit wardens and The Reconciled. Do they have an ulterior motive fore acquiring so many spirits and essences, or is this purely a matter of wealth and power?
