South Point

Once a bustling city full of life and trade South Point remains now only as port city and as a stop in the routes across the continents. Developed as a trading city that had close ties to many of the Iruvian settlements South Point and its populous were instrumental in reconnecting many of the city states in the early days of the cataclysm. Its explorers and mercenaries were happy to reach out across land or sea for the payment and protection it provided. Unfortunately this exploration was eventually its downfall. As people travelled too and from locations far and wide eventually a virilunt plague hit the city. throughout its crampt streets and slums this plague ravaged its people. the plague hit elsewhere and destroyed districts in Doskvol but nowhere did it spread so quickly and so devastatingly as it did here. By the time it had run its course the city was a shell of its former self. Many streets and districts are empty, occupied only by the ghosts that resided there in life. Spirit wardens of many cities have attempted to reclaim these streets, but the sheer scale makes it slow progress. in the modern era only a fraction of the cities former population now live within a small enclave around the rail station and harbour.
