Duchy of Brackenwold

The Duchy of Brackenwold is one of the northernmost areas of the Kingdom of Anglion. The Duchy's dominating feature is the the Forest of Dolmenwood, stretching across much of the Duchy's domain. Castle Brackenwold is the seat of the Duchy situated at the edge of the forest and acting as the border between the realm of man and the untamed wilderness of the north. The eastern portion of the Duchy is the County of High Hankle whose Count has sworn fealty to the Duke.  The southern edge of the Duchy is the coastline of the Emeraude Sea while the the east is the neighboring Duchy of Rhedicia.
