Shadow Soliders
When Nathaniel Meadowneli obtained his magical abilities, he created what were called "Shadow Soldiers" from the ground.
Shadow Soldiers are fallen souls that have taken the form of Cynicreat-based humanoid voids. Attempts to kill or injure these creatures have been futile and proven to be useless. These came into play when Nathaniel brought war and took Alexander Halakeno's crown.

History
Nathaniel's journals were recovered from the remains of the first Ankiran civilization that proves how much research was dedicated to obtaining the magic he had possessed.
The Shadow Soldiers (named [latin]) originated from The Ferryman. The Ferryman is a guide of souls and was said to have left souls on Earth who have been wronged and sought out vengeance for their death. As a deity, The Ferryman could do nothing to help with their dilemmas and brought the spirits back where they died and gave them a barely corporeal body to inhabit to enact upon their rage and wishes. Once completed, the soul would be taken to their limbo.
There was a heavy flaw with this plan. The body that The Ferryman gave the souls were barely corporeal and were barely keeping themselves together. It took quite some energy to keep pulling it together and occasionally, the body would break and fall apart, causing the soul to lose all control and be left without a form to inhabit. When this happened, they were now stuck on Earth for they had not completed what they had vowed to do and could not be taken back by The Ferryman.
The souls would have a certain period of time that depended on how long they kept the body they housed to inhabit a new body and complete their task. If they failed to do so before their period of time was out, they were bound to Earth for good until the rest of time.
