The time of Miraq's Eye's use as a form of execution
The First Discovery of the pit known as Miraq's Eye. Found by explorers from Viribusia
Execution of a dreaded Necromancer. Thrown into the pit, new form of punishment reserved for the worst criminals
Battle between the forces of Clan Karak and the Elves of Dunclaver. Clan Karak had the Elven representative kidnapped and dragged him to Miraq's Eye as a threat for diplomatic disrepute. Elven troops launched a surprise attack to free their leader and fought Clan Karak in a battle that was mostly a stalemate
The pit of Miraq's Eye was inexplicably filled to the brim with water. Cause remains unknown
The spread of the Oasis and subsequent settlement by Kalashtar monks
The first Kalashtar settlers build their homes along the Miraq's Eye oasis
Joined forces of the Collective sent forces to retake Miraq's Eye. Despite being extremely outnumbered the Kalashtar managed to drive off the enemy thanks to divine intervention
A large group of Refugees who were driven out of Antigor after attempting a coup against the crown. They asked the Kalashtar to take them in.
The Antigorine refugees and the Kalashtar signed a diplomatic Union to establish a new nation, the Estaran Union
The First age of the Estaran Union. The new nation focused on expanding its presence in Diremont.
The ancient red dragon Vaugner attacked the city of Miraq's Eye and briefly assumed control. The initial battle resulted in many casualties
After enduring many years of Vaugners regime, the people of Miraq's Eye lead a successful revolution which drove him from the city. Vaugner was hunted across the desert and eventually slain by an army of Estaran Soldiers
After the grueling task of slaying Vaugner the Estaran Militia decided to set up camp along the shore of a river on the journey home. The majority of the militia eventually completed the journey home but a small group were granted permission to settle along the river as reward for the bravery
During disputes over trade an Antigorine emissary was assassinated in Miraq's Eye. In response the Empire marched an army to the city and put it under siege. After the siege failed the Estaran pursued the enemy to their borders. Due to other engagements the Empire could not commit their whole force to the war. So the war raged on at the border for years as a stalemate. Peace was eventually reached when The Collective stepped in
The Oasis of Miraq's Eye was infected by a taintworm parasite. Due to the immense reliance on that water source the people of Miraq's Eye fell victim to a plague caused by the parasite. Some people speculate the parasite were planted by foreign spies as the worm was not native to the region
After the devastating Taintworm epidemic some of the residents of Miraq's Eye decided to leave the dangers of the city behind and settled the town of Sahel Ba along the Western coast
The Birth of the acclaimed God King Ravina. Son of the king who had been blessed by Pelor and sworn to give birth to a son who would not only lead the Estaran people but also ascend to godhood
The Antigorine Empire's power began to grow larger, to the point they demanded other nations submit and swear fealty to the Empire. After refusing this demand the Empire declared war on the Estaran people and so began a long war that tested both nations.
After failing to fend off the Antigorine invaders the city of Miraq's Eye fell into Imperial hands. It began a lengthy and tough Imperial rule of the nation
Despite all he had done for his nation during his extremely long life, the God King Ravina was held responsible for the failure in the War. The Imperials took note of this new dissent for him and in an attempt to win over the people they publicly executed the God King in the Temple of the Sun
After suffering many years of Imperial dominance rebel groups began to grow in Estar and eventually they caught the attention of the Thordigardian Horde who were also at war with the Empire at the time. A detachment of the Horde was sent through Estaran lands to liberate the people.
