Rexvil City

Rexvil, or Rexvelling is a city in the Dinoranian constituent Kingdom of Rexvil, of which it is the Capital. It is the second largest city in Dinorania in both area and population, as well as the third wealthiest. The City is located on the Rensingen Plain in the Dinoranian Heartland Region, and the Greater Rexvil Metropolitan Region is considered a territorial division of the Heartlands, situated between the Province of Silau on the Mesogean Sea to the South, and the Department of Ascany to the North, which encloses it from three sides. It was built in 1057 at the behest of Dejnus III, the first Holy Dinoranian Emperor, to serve as his new capital and connect the Duchy of Ascany over which he presided with the Eastern Heartlands and the former Imperial Capital of Piennae. The city saw much of the cultural, political and economic blossoming of the Ascanian Renaissance in the 12th to 13th Centuries, and continued to serve as the Imperial Capital until its relocation to Piennae (now Pienna) in 1645.
