Of The Dihatic Dragons

Summary

The powers of the Dragons is legendary, the first Gods of Dihat, Dragons have lived since time began for this world and maybe since before that. They are all powerful, easily capable of vanquishing any foe put before them no matter the odds. The thousands, possibly tens of thousands, of years of their lifetime has allowed to become masters of war and magic, knowledge and fear. While it is unknown exactly how many Dragons there are, or really how many there were to begin with, they are described, in their true form, to have a wingspan over 100 feet long (30 meters). Said to rise over sixty feet (18 meters) and stand 40 feet in length (12 meters) many Dragons have similar shape but not all of them. Most Dragons have wings and four limbs, however the Orange has but two arms and no wings, propelling itself through the sky with whipping cracks of its tail strong and loud enough to bring fortresses to the ground. Physical appearance is about where the similarities end, as Dragons do not act the same as each other and do not covet or work towards the same goals. What is known, is that after the Long War, between Dragons and creatures aligned with them against Giantkind and their allies, each dragon took a roughly 1000 mile area to claim as His domain. As time went on some domains appeared to be unequal in the subjects that the Dragon claimed to be theirs, and so the realms were readjusted again. This had been done a great many times over the course of history, of course some Dragons cared not to inform their subjects if they were no longer under His domain and now had a new Lord to worship. This ignorance has caused more than a small number of deaths for the insolent wretches to still worship their former protector, as if they didn't know that they had a new master now. These domains however, were not randomly assigned but were evenly distributed in accordance with balancing the world between good and evil. One good Dragon would always watch the actions of one evil and vice versa, each balancing the other.
