Year of the Slain Emperor

Era beginning/end

In observation of tradition, at the beginning of the year, the Oracles of Azgenerath converged to name the year by their vision of what was to come. The year was named on the Dragon Hawk, Year of the Slain Emperor. As history would unfold, the year would be marked by the emperor going into hiding, an outsider to Noveatus discovering the emperor's secret hideout, and the subsequent execution of the man for his crimes against humanity.

Though the year is noted for the emperor's execution, no record is kept of his executioner Dr. Tomorrow. Dr. Tomorrow wanted to study the results of slaying a man whom reminded him of his own nemesis. Dr. Tomorrow, in actuality, had no stake in the lives of the individuals living on Noveatus.
