The First Adventures of Seagert and Tycondis

Expedition

After their victory against the Ogre King's behemoth, the adventurers of Balsam would be recruited by Gygax, now forty-four, into the Burnside Mercenaries. Once recruited the adventurers, with the help of the now twenty-seven year old Master Mage Mira Mor, would recruit a local man Seagert the Black along with his boy sidekick Tycondis Black.

Accompanied by Seagert the Black and Tycondis, Gygax, the Eilvenkin Elvair, two of the three surviving adventurers of Balsam, and Master Mage Mira Mor would travel to the Black Mountains in order to once again attempt to slay the mighty Black Dragon. Recruiting heroes along the way and gaining fame for quests won on the journey, the men would become that of legend. Ultimately, the adventuring mercenaries would reach the Black Mountains and be defeated by the Black Dragon and of the twenty-three that entered only Seagert, Tycondis, and the Master Mage survived. Drained of all power by the Master Mage in a desperate attempt to win the battle and left with no memory of their journey before; the pair, actually father and son, would wander the unknown regions beyond the border of men until they regained their memories. Working their way back home, the pair would return to Xelier, the lovely healer of the town of Balsam and mother of Tycondis. Xelier would die happy soon there after and the pair would never reclaim their legendary power, though they would adventure again.
