Tesz'andel

Descendants of the Ran and Qir Tesz'tskaa who attempted to invade Andellion during the First Riftwar. Following their severing from their Zahyran ties, the Andel people have now been mostly assimilated to human Andellians' culture and language, although they are considered by most countries to be second-class citizens. Due to the Founder effect, most Andel Tskaa have light orange or ochre skin, diminished facial ridges, and striped patterning.

Family names

Tesz'andel have lost their Zahyran roots and have adopted a more Andellian naming scheme (first name and family name). Family names include Belbani, Candeik, Mendara, Meikeen and Zulaik.

Speak Andel, a bastardized mix between ancien Tskaa language and Andellian Common with Kerdaantite Imperial and Thashi influences.

Prefer paler (less tan) skin. Particularly for the Andel who live among humans, looking more like humans is more prized.
