Sacraments

Sacraments are psionic symbols inscribed with divine energy, usually taking the form of writing, drawing or miscellaneous symbols. They are manifested either very briefly or permanently to communicate information, and can be made visible to only those on a certain 'spiritual vibration' such as Devas or anyone entrusted to view the sacraments.

Usage

Existing as one of the earliest forms of Omkara manifestation, sacraments were utilised by Devic societies to communicate messages between certain ranks and maintain a divided spread of information that could not be understood by those with lower reputation. In recent events, sacraments are mainly associated with the usage of graffiti by the Untouchables and rebellious citizens who may try to communicate with their brethren with cryptic symbols.
The most powerful use of sacraments is 'encryption', where a symbol may be imbued with internal information that is highly difficult to decrypt and obtain and can be detected with psionic systems in order to validate a person or object who possesses the sacrament, ranging from currencies to governmental positions. One noticeable use of encryption is the entrustment of a 'Dhyana-flight license' - the laghima psionic allows one to travel through the air in a meditative state, but doing so within Devic territory requires passing an official examination that grants the user a sacrament containing encrypted data that verifies their social position with the license, which then must be carried via HumPod or chakra augment.
