Gnebik

Gnebik is one of the few ancient dragons still remaining in the world, after the Warring Times, and the only one to maintain regular communication with the mortal races. An ancient white dragon armed with powerful illusion magic and ice-cold breath, Gnebik acts as guardian and god to the forest gnomes of Lak Fip, the Radiant City. Gnebik's lair is found at the top of the Frostpeak Mountain, in the centre of the Bukwit forest.
Little is known about Gnebik's personality or the exact nature of her relationship with theBukwit Gnomes. It is clear that she feels a large measure of protectiveness over them - indeed, she was responsible for the routing of Anousias' raiding host during the Second Goblin Crusade. And, in turn, the gnomes of Lak Fip offer her their own devotion. Some of their number, known as the Drak Vad, act in her service as guardians of her Hoard of ancient relics.
Gnebik also plays a key role in the governing of Lak Fip. Each year, a dozen candidates are sent to her lair atop the Frostpeak Mountain, and one of them is then chosen to be the Vadak, the administrative leader of the settlement.
