Ashton Grey (a.k.a. Ash)

Ashton Grey is an antisocial young man with few friends. He often puts off hanging out with others and spends time alone at home. One day, deciding to take a walk he sees a woman about to hit by an oncoming car and dives to save her. With this, his soul is dragged down to the Otherworld. His guilty conscience does not come from any crime or misdeed, but simply his own guild of inaction with his life. Minor daemons surround him and almost attack him before he is suddenly rescued. The Daemon, appearing as a human woman with the exception of horns, wings, and a tail, saves his life and offers him a choice to form a pact with her. This daemon calls herself, Tryx. They journeyed to the mountain and she sent on his way, telling the young man he would not recall any of the events that occurred in this realm. But that wasn't the case, he woke in the ambulance, medics apparently resuscitating him. After a few days, he is omitted out of the hospital and discovered the supernatural ability that Tryx told him that he gained by taking her blood. From his own blood, a crimson sword is summoned, sparks of red energy come off of it. With the knowledge of what he knows is coming, he prepares to find others like him.

Crimson Rites: This ability allows him to form small constructs out of red energy. He mostly uses it to materialize a glove with a knife. The energy from this is especially effective on things from the Otherworld and is invisible to normal Humans.

Motivation

Being the only Accursed who knows about Otherworld, having newfound powers, and knowing the truth of the nature of these abilities, he holds a feeling of great responsibility. Using his knowledge he hopes to find people to help and is even willing to set up to the challenge if need be.
