Drake

Semi-reptilian dragon-like humanoids, sometimes referred to as Dragonborn. Most lives on their isles in Gormur Archipelago, but drakes are frequent travelers and adventuresome. Strong and with the ability to breath fire, cold, acid or other elements, drakes are fierce warriors but also competent mages and scholars.

Oldblood drakes are a rare variant of Drakes with a closer connection to their draconic ancestors. Their scales harden and they gain an innate spellcasting similar to sorcerers. Some say they even get wings I have dwelt into old documents, talk to ancient drakes and traveled far to give you answers and separate fact from fiction. Drakes are naturally adaptive, being found on most parts of the Irath. However they seem to prefer colder regions.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Drakes are omnivores, but prefer meat which they get by herding livestock, like cows, pigs, sheep or goats. Drakes also likes fish, and have one of the biggest fishing industries on Devaar.

Naming Traditions

Drakish tradition dictates that last names comes from a combination of their color and a body trait, most often tails or scales. Blacktail, Flamescale, Rainscale or Lightclaw for example.

Major Organizations

Most drakes live in Gormur Archipelago, under the different kings, lords or head shamans.
