A race from another dimension unrelated to the Founders find the milky way and figure out a way to exploit it for their own needs.

While the Founders were doing their best to train humans to someday compete with the alien races they found on the exploration, a colony known as the Kesqueijek found its way to the Milky Way after a big war that torn away their own dimension, they won the conflict but did not have any resources left to rebuild and so, they were forced to leave.   When they came across the Milky Way, the Kesqueijek, who were also capable of manipulating energy, managed to use their own powers to drain some resources from each planet they found, when they took notice of the Founders and figured what they were able to do, they quickly merged between the general human population in earth and looked for a way to harness their power and be able to rebuild their home at a faster rate.   Soon, the Founders were able to notice them and even though they didn´t know their intentions, they did offered them help to rebuild their dimension only if they stopped draining resources from their own planets and left the Milky Way after their home was brought back.   They agreed and soon, they began rebuilding the other dimension, the Kesqueijek brought some working personnel to cooperate, they managed to capture and obligate to work some beings from the other race they defeated in the war that destroyed their own home in the first place, they were known as the Opalbriande and were now under the complete control of the Kesqueijek, being taken as slaves by them.   After rebuilding their home, they managed to use their power to trap and seal the Founders in some special sarcophagus they had developed to restrain them, then, they took and imprisoned them under the pyramids of the current day Egypt, inside some chambers they built in secret that were designed to study them while draining their energy for it to be implemented in any way the Kesqueijeks wanted to, they also took all the technology the Founders left on Earth and other planets of the Milky Way to their own dimension, all while staying in this one at the same time, still hiding between humans and other species, watching as they slowly drive themselves to extinction, guiding them in the wrong ways in middle of their evolution, the Kesqueijek soon conquered earth, using it as a huge resource mine and personal playground for them to be entertained by almost every thing that the used humans do.
