Doisui is the messenger of the Virilen gods, and god of travel. He ferries messages among the gods as well as between gods and men, and is thus the god primarily associated with prayer. He also has associations as a minor knowledge deity, given his travels across the world and heavens, and is considered one of Chiean's servants.

He is known as Chiean's envoy and confidante, and he is close friends with Amak. He and Gossalu have a strained relationship, since his success in communication limits her opportunities for entertainment through chaos, but they get along on Gossalu's good days.
