Lust Demons
Lust demons can be found throughout the continent however they only hold political power on the westernmost peninsula. Often they will travel in groups for safety reasons and travelling groups can consist of hundreds of members. Many of those outside the western peninsula know of them as primarily performers and artists. Out of all the demon subgroups, they are the most easily encountered aside from the dominant demon subgroup in the area. Most individuals will have met a Lust demon before, even if they've never left their rural hometown, due to their typical profession as travelling entertainers.
Inherent Magic Trait
Each demon subgroup is characterized by an inherent magical trait due to the fact that upon birth (and if no magical abilities manifest) demons are outwardly indistinguishable.The inherent magic trait of Lust demons is known as sight-bending or Alteration, the latter primarily by those who have grown up in Lust demon communities.
Like all inherent magic traits, there are multiple recognized ranks:
Rank 1: force victims to have their sight stuck in your created reality
Rank 2: affect a few people with an item from your created reality
Rank 3: partially transport a few victims to created reality (objects in created reality are only visible and tangible to those affected but their body is still visible to those not affected, creating an odd dissonance for any outside viewers)
Rank 4: victims are fully transported to this created reality and their bodies are not visible to those not affected so basically all those who step into the room are space are basically stepping into the equivalent of a pocket dimension
The drawback is that with this immense power to create temporary alterations to reality Lust demons must sink a significant portion of this extra magic into an entirely magicless recipient, namely humans. This can be done in a manner of ways, however the most effective involves the recipient orgasming as a result of the Lust demon employing their magic trait. If this is not done frequently enough, a Lust demon may be consumed by their own magical trait. This "quirk" is what associates them with lust.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Like most other demon subgroups, Lust demons have pointed ears and tails. Their tails are long, flexible and hairless. They connect to where the vestigial tailbones are on humans and are not strong enough to use for climbing. Their tails can be docked, however while this will not cause considerable long-term damage, it is incredibly painful and traumatic. Some Lust demons that have been docked cite issues with balance immediately afterward, but this could also be attributed to the fact that most tail dockings occur in instances of torture. Often tails will be decorated with jewelry since they lack the ability to grasp objects making them essentially decorative limbs. Males and females display little to no sexual dimorphisms and the distinction is entirely cultural. Both males and females have a chance to be born with functional womb or a sperm-producing organ and the partner that rears the children boils down to personal preference.

Living alongside humans has been deeply integrated into their culture. Unlike certain other demon subgroups, they tend to get along quite well with humans and have a deep sense of responsibility concerning their communities.
Since their magical ability causes them to live either within human communities or alongside a significant human population, this makes them very used to being friendly with humans as many have grown up with humans or with humans in positions of power. Individuals born with their inherent magical trait are viewed favorably, but it's similar to being born with particularly thick pretty hair. It's nice but takes a considerable amount of effort to maintain it which makes it cool but a hassle. As a result non-magical individuals who are great artists can be just as celebrated as individuals who are able to reach high ranks of their magical trait.
