Alwyn Hallas has been captain of the P.A.S. Dauntless for almost three years now. At only 34 years old, she is remarkably young to have her own command, even of a relatively old survey vessel. Her meteoric rise through the ranks has been propelled purely through merit, as she has very little in the way of familial connections. She was at the top of her class at the [REDACTED] Academy and quickly attained the position of First Officer and rank of Commander onboard a Pact Alliance vessel, the P.A.S. Brotherhood, lending noncombat aid to the Sidarian Empire against the K'sari Empire. She distinguished herself in this position when the patrol group she was a part of was attacked and her captain killed, and was given a medal and her own command.
She is human, 6'0" tall, with an athletic build, jet black hair, and grey eyes. She tends to stare into the middle distance when she is lost in thought, which means that she is caught accidentally staring at people quite often. Noticing this is probably the only way to embarrass her. She typically wears an officer's uniform and fights with a kinetic pistol and a sword.
The young human formerly in command of the P.A.S. Dauntless, Alwyn was apparently a spy for the Sydarians for some time. She is standoffish and aloof, but Nibble's surprising genuineness took her by surprise and helped to thaw her outlook toward the party.
