Celia Alana Velázquez V.
Celia Alana Velázquez is a member of the Velázquez Dynasty and the current crown princess of Stadescos. She was born into her family shortly before the rise of The Empire and grew up among political turmoil, before ultimately being orphaned by the rebel group. This incident also made her the last remaining member of the century old Velázquez Dynasty. As an adult, she joined the Specialized Response Unit to avenge her family and justify herself as the successor for the throne, as her position as crown princess had always been under constant scrutiny due to her character.

Early Life
Celia was born to her parents Natalia Luisa Velázquez and Emilio Nicolás Velázquez. She had one older sibling, Nerea Natalia Velázquez. Her father was the reigning monarch of
Stadescos. Celia was also engaged to the crown prince of Yarchua, Arkadiy Belyakov from the day she was born. During her entire life, Stadescos, like all the other countries as well, was dealing with The Empire, a rebel group that demanded the unification of all Dáotára countries. The faction in Stadescos was lead by Eileen Boyd, who had a personal vendetta against Celia´s family.
When Celia was four years old, her family had gone into hiding on a remote island, but were found by the rebels regardless. Celia´s family was killed and she only survived by chance, though the attack left her with a permanently injured left shoulder. Even though she was rescued a few hours later, Celia had been scarred by the event for the rest of her life.
Additionally to her royal education, which was now preparing her to be the future queen, Celia soon decided that she wanted to learn how to fight. She took great inspiration in the soldiers that had rescued her, all members of the
Specialized Response Unit. Celia started training with the goal of being part of the special force herself one day to be able to avenge her family. Aside from that, Celia was raised in Yarchua for long periods at a time and considers the Belyakovs family, even though the engagement between her and Arkadiy had been broken off after her parents death.
Adult Life
Celia does achieve her goal and joins the
Specialized Response Unit when she is twenty years old. Even before joining, she had already killed two of the members of The Empire. In the five years in the Specialized Response Unit, she dedicates most of the time she has besides official missions to hunt down the remaining members of the rebel group, that have since the final incident with her family have all been forced into the underground. Her main focus being Eileen Boyd as the leading force behind everything.
All the while, Celia is constantly pressured by the nobility in
Stadescos and by César Rodriguez, who is the regent in her stead, to give up on her revenge trip and take the throne. Celia constantly refuses and argues that she needs to finish this first to be a good queen.
Physical Appearance
Celia has dark black hair, which she wears cut short ever since she started to train for the military. She has piercing emerald green eyes and overall sharp facial features. With those two traits, Celia embodies the physical apperance that is favored in the Velázquez Dynasty. Apart from that, Celia has a very athletic body and is of average height and weight. A very distinguishable feature is the severe scarring on her left shoulder, stemming from the injury she sustained the night her family was killed. Besides the scars, she has limited movement in that shoulder, even after all those years.Characteristics
Celia is often considered a very callous person, who mainly thinks rational and has few empathy for others. This is only true for people that are not close to her. Celia cares a lot about her colleagues in the military, even considers them her family. She sometimes has a hard time showing those emotions, but they exist. Apart from that, Celia can empathise with others peoples feelings and their actions, but she does not show it. She actively upholds her reputation of being cold, because she cannot deal with being vulnerable. Celia is also very loyal to the people closest to her. She is motivated by the goal of her upholding her families name and honor, because that is what she has been told that she had to do, all her life. Additionally to that, a driving factor in Celia´s behaviour is her relationship to the people closest to her. She strives to proctect them as much as possible.Relationships
History
When Celia and Leyla meet, Celia is just as sceptical of Leyla as the rest of the special force. She does grow to trust her over time though and even begins to admire Leyla for her courage and magical talent. For a long time, Celia sees Leyla as a weapon to use at the right opportunities. This changes over time when Leyla more and more starts to call out Celia on her behaviour. Celia starts to see the value in Leylas opinions and her political and social insight. The two of them become powerful political partners.
History
Even though their first meeting was not really favorable, Benicio and Celia soon learned that there were less differences seperating them then they had first assumed. Though their come from two completely different social backgrounds, a relationship and a friendship developed. Until they became Companions when they were sixteen and have fought beside each other ever since. Benicio is Celia´s voice of reason.
