The Lightbringer

The ruler of the Gondheim dwarves is a dwarven lich, a member of the Cult of the Arcane who achieved lichdom during the enacting of the Curse. He was motivated by the desire to unite the dwarves under his rule (a process he'd half-completed by the time of the Curse), and the conviction that no one could rule the dwarves as well as he could.
He is known as the Lightbringer because he brought an end to The Time of Darkness.
