Stella Wachter is the eldest daughter of Lady Fiona Wachter of Vallaki. Her mother tried to marry her off to Baron Vargas' son Victor in order to try and take control of the town. Victor then raped Stella and used her in one his magical experiments driving her mad. She spent months locked in her room strapped to her bed. Her brothers, were her only visitors, when they came to feed her.   When Aukan Gravetender Katho-lavi became Abbot of the Abbey of Saint Markovia, he came to Wachterhouse and cured her of her madness. She found her mother even more controlling than ever and decided to join the Church of the Morninglord and move to the abbey in Krezk where she now studies magic and the healing arts.
