Sid was one of the most popular dukes in Riverway’s history. Growing up, Sid was a hard worker on his family farm but when he reached his late teens he decided to move to the small riverside town of Bresbin to try his hand at trade and business. He quickly realized he had a natural talent in buying businesses and properties and in a few short years he owned half the businesses in Bresbin. Two decades later, Bresbin had more than tripled in size and was the wealthiest city in both the Riverway and the Flats further south. Everyone knew his trade deals and river tolls were responsible for turning the struggling town into The Gateway City, so it only made sense that he was elected the next Duke of the city after Duke Mathus stepped down from the position due to his age. Thanks to his level head and honest diplomacy, every single town and village in the region was on good terms with Bresbin during his reign.
