Bresbin
Bresbin is the largest "city" in Riverway. In comparison to Kornoba and Tillia to the north, Bresbin would only be considered a medium size town with its small population.
Bresbin is surrounded by natural defenses so it has little need for a standing army and heavy fortifications. Bresbin Pass to the north is a narrow muddy road that is the only land route from the north through the mountains. The pass can only by traveled by horse or on foot so it is impossible for an invading source to bring siege equipment to attack the city by land. To the south, Bresbin rests against shores of the Mazine River, the largest in the region. To the east are more rivers and impassable swamp lands known as the Fens. To the west at the mouth of the Mazine is Fort Duke, which can repel any attacks by sea or invading forces attempting to travel up river.
Demographics
The working call is settled along the north shores of the Mazine. The Duke and merchant class are settled more towards the heart of the city.

City Is ruled over by Duke and a governed partially by small council of elders.
