Web Eater Mushroom

The Web Eater Mushroom is a blue, glowing mushroom originating from the Underdark. It's called this way due to it usually growing around spiderwebs and the fact that the blue glowing spores it releases inflicts Disease to Spiders and travels on webs.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

The spores it releases travels on webs and other surfaces it touches, shrinking over distance. The Web Eater Mushroom spores that find a Spider then travel inside it as a parasite, slowly consuming it. When the Spider dies, clusters of Web Eater Shrooms grow out of its remains - hence why they are found in clusters.

Ecology and Habitats

It grows underground, in places infested with Spiders.
